Malin Gjörup
Malin is Artist Manager in charge of our list of conductors and instrumentalists – as well as the odd singer. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Vocal Performance from the Malmö College of Music and worked as a freelance opera and concert singer before joining Svenska Konsertbyrån in 2004. Malin cannot play the violin, but wished that she could… The two M’s, Mozart and Monteverdi, hold a special place in Malin’s heart – as does opera in all forms and sizes.
Christian Gabler
Christian is Maximilian’s assistant and deeply devoted to the opera-genre and a living encyclopedia of repertoire and voices, modern as well as singers from passed eras. Prior to joining Konsertbyrån he was member of the editorial staff and a critic for the Swedish OPERA-magazine as well as a known record store profile in Stockholm when he on the staff of one of the leading retailers of classical records.
Monika Kobak Glimskär
Monika is Malin’s assistant besides being in charge of our newsletter. She has an MA in Music and Media from Uppsala University and has been employed by festivals such as Stockholm New Music and the Baltic Sea Festival. Monika has a big, and ever growing, interest in early music and she is member of the editorial staff for the Swedish magazine for early Music, Tidig Musik.
Gittan Rudnik Furenhed
Gittan is our accountant, and in charge of our invoicing. She is a certified accountant, with a musical background. She has a degree in musical education and has been a Dalcroze-and pianoteacher. Gittan has also been a piano-entertainer! |

Maximilian Schattauer
Maximilian is head of the Vocal department and Managing Director of Svenska Konsertbyrån AB. Originally a lawyer, he changed tracks in 1991 when he was admitted to the University College of Opera in Gothenburg. After some years as a freelance singer Maximilian joined Svenska Konsertbyrån in 2001 to start up a vocal division. In 2006 he became Managing Director/CEO. His musical interests are broad, but centered on vocal music.
